Terri Fensel's
photos were recently featured in Houston
Magazine. Her work was also included in the exhibition "Spirit
of Place: Art in Acadiana" currently showing at the Ogden
Museum of Southern Art in New Orleans. The exhibition runs
through July 22, 2005.
And when it comes
to awards, Terri's been busy. She took home 13 awards from the
2005 Louisiana Press Women's Association, as well as this year's
Sweepstakes Winner honor. And the Louisiana
Press Association saw fit to bestow her with 10 awards for

Terri Fensel's work
will be featured in the two-person photography exhibit "Rhythm
and Roots!" at the Opelousas Museum of Art in Opelousas,
Louisiana. The show will also feature the work of photographer
Rick
Olivier.
There will
be a member's preview of the show on the evening of Tuesday, Feb.
1 from 6 until 8 p.m. Terri will also be giving a public interview
at the museum on Sunday, April 3 from 2 until 4 p.m. (Rick will
give an inteview as on Sunday, Feb. 27 from 2 until 4 p.m.)
The show runs
from February 2 until April 23, 2005. The museum is located at
106 N. Union Street in Opelousas and is open Tuesday through Saturday.

In September, Terri garnered four awards from the National Press Women's Association, three of which where first place honors.
We've also made a couple of changes to the site, including the addition of a few new images, but most notably an introductory page with new music by C.C. Adcock from his new record. Terri recently did some work for The Lafayette Marquis.

Break out the champagne!
On Saturday, Terri cleaned house at the annual Louisiana Press Women Awards. Out of the 16 possible awards she could have garnered, Terri took home 13 of them. Check out all of Louisiana Life in the category of photography in a printed publication other than newspaper.
One judge commented that Terri's work incorporated "nice angles, dramatic lighting, and good story telling quality."
